This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and subscription cancellations work for paid eTempMail / Temp Mail Pro purchases sold through our online reseller Paddle.com.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns and refunds.
Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law. Where local law gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.
1. Who handles payments and refunds
Paid plans on this website are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited / Paddle.com Inc, as applicable). Paddle is the Merchant of Record (MoR). That means:
- Paddle processes your payment and appears on your bank or card statement (often as PADDLE.NET* plus a short descriptor);
- Paddle issues receipts and tax invoices;
- Refund and billing support for completed payments is handled by Paddle;
- eTempMail provides the product (Temp Mail Pro) and product support.
2. 30-day refund rules (unused vs used plans)
You may request a refund within 30 days of the purchase (or renewal) date that you want refunded. Eligibility depends on whether the plan was used:
- Unused plans — full refund: If the paid plan has not been used (for example, no Pro dashboard access of substance, no paid inboxes created or used, no API usage under the paid plan, and no material consumption of paid features), we will support a full refund when the request is made within 30 days.
- Used plans — only if a major portion is unused: If you have started using the paid plan, a refund is considered only when a major portion of the paid period or paid entitlement remains unused (for example, most of the billing period is still remaining and usage has been limited). In those cases we may support a full or partial refund after review. Heavy or ongoing use of paid features generally means the purchase is not refundable, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
By completing checkout you acknowledge that you have read this Refund & Cancellation Policy and these unused/used rules. Where Paddle or local law provides a shorter or longer statutory withdrawal period, the most favorable applicable consumer protection will apply.
3. How to request a refund
To withdraw from a purchase, cancel with a refund request, or ask about billing:
- Use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle order confirmation email; or
- Open Paddle’s buyer support at https://paddle.net and choose the option to request a refund; or
- Contact Paddle using the support link on your receipt.
You may also email us at [email protected] so we can help escalate a product issue to Paddle. For payment refunds, Paddle remains the correct Merchant of Record contact.
If approved, refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on Paddle and your bank or card issuer (often within about 14 days after approval).
4. Subscriptions: cancel vs refund
- Cancel: You can stop future renewals at any time. Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then unless a refund also ends access.
- Refund: A refund reverses a charge already taken (subject to this policy, Paddle’s review, and applicable law). After a refund, access to the paid product may end.
Renewal charges that fall outside the applicable refund / withdrawal window are generally non-refundable except where required by law or approved by Paddle as a discretionary refund.
5. Technical issues and product defects
If Temp Mail Pro has a material defect or persistent technical problem that prevents you from using features as described:
- Contact us first at [email protected] (or via our Contact us page) so we can try to fix it;
- If it cannot be resolved, request a refund through Paddle (see section 3) and include details of the issue and our response.
Evidence of a material defect will be considered under applicable consumer protection laws and Paddle’s refund process.
6. When refunds may be declined
Refunds may be declined (except where mandatory law requires otherwise) if, for example:
- the request is outside the 30-day window or any longer statutory period;
- the plan was used and a major portion of the paid period or entitlement has already been consumed;
- there is evidence of fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, or manipulative behaviour;
- Paddle determines the transaction is not eligible under its buyer terms.
Paddle may also issue discretionary refunds case by case. A discretionary refund does not create an obligation to refund similar future requests.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact Paddle or us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks can delay resolution and may temporarily suspend access while the dispute is reviewed. This does not remove your lawful rights to dispute a charge.
8. Contact
Product / eTempMail:
Email: [email protected]
Contact form: https://etempmail.net/contact-us
Payments / refunds (Merchant of Record):
Paddle buyer support: https://paddle.net
Paddle’s own refund terms for buyers are described at https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy. If there is any inconsistency on payment processing, Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy for the transaction will govern the payment relationship.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase, together with any non-waivable rights under local law.
