These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of eTempMail at https://etempmail.net, including free temporary email tools and paid Temp Mail Pro features (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and (for paid plans) our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Our mission and supported use
eTempMail is built to help people protect their real inbox, reduce unwanted marketing mail, test sign-ups safely, and keep personal email more private during everyday online activity.
We support lawful, responsible use only. The Service is intended for legitimate privacy and productivity purposes, such as:
- signing up for newsletters, trials, or one-time registrations without exposing your primary inbox;
- reducing spam and unwanted marketing email;
- protecting personal privacy while browsing or testing websites;
- developers and teams testing email flows in a controlled, non-abusive way;
- managing temporary or Pro inboxes for legitimate business or personal workflows.
We are committed to operating a trustworthy service that respects users, third-party platforms, and applicable law.
2. The Service
- Free temporary email: disposable addresses and short-term inboxes for receiving messages. Availability, domains, retention time, and rate limits may change.
- Temp Mail Pro: paid features such as persistent inboxes, higher limits, rules, API access, or other plan benefits described on our pricing page.
- Related tools: optional utilities we publish on the site (for example generators or guides).
Temporary addresses and messages are not a permanent archive. Do not rely on them for long-term storage of important mail.
3. Acceptable use (required)
You may use eTempMail only for legal activities. You must not use the Service for spam, illegal activity, fraud, abuse, or any harmful conduct that violates law or third-party policies.
3.1 You must not
- send, request, facilitate, or receive spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or phishing;
- use the Service for fraud, scams, identity theft, account takeovers, or social engineering;
- violate applicable laws or regulations (including privacy, consumer, export, sanctions, or computer misuse laws);
- violate the terms, acceptable-use, or anti-abuse policies of third-party websites, apps, payment providers, social networks, marketplaces, or email providers;
- create fake accounts, evade bans, abuse free trials, or circumvent security or verification systems on third-party services;
- distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or other harmful code;
- harass, threaten, exploit, or harm others, including minors;
- engage in activities involving illegal goods or services, child sexual abuse material, terrorism, hate crimes, or other clearly harmful illegal content;
- attack, probe, overload, or disrupt our infrastructure or anyone else’s systems (including DDoS, scraping that harms the Service, or brute-force attacks);
- resell, rent, or provide unauthorized automated access to the Service in a way that enables abuse;
- misrepresent affiliation with eTempMail or use our brand to deceive others.
3.2 Positive expectations
- Use temporary email to protect privacy and reduce spam — not to hide criminal or abusive behaviour.
- Respect the platforms you interact with; if a site forbids disposable email for a given action, do not use eTempMail to bypass that rule.
- Keep your account credentials secure and report suspected abuse to us when possible.
- Use Pro features (API, rules, inboxes) within plan limits and for legitimate workflows only.
3.3 Enforcement
We may investigate suspected abuse and take action we consider appropriate, including warning you, limiting features, deleting temporary addresses or messages, suspending or terminating accounts, refusing service, and cooperating with lawful requests from authorities or affected third parties. We may also apply rate limits, captchas, IP blocks, and other anti-abuse controls.
4. Accounts and eligibility
Some features require registration. You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13 years old, or the higher age required locally). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
5. Paid plans and billing
Paid Temp Mail Pro plans are billed by eTempMail through checkout on this website. Plan features, pricing, billing intervals, taxes, and checkout details are shown at purchase. Subscription renewals and cancellations follow the plan terms shown at checkout. Refunds and cancellations are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, design, software, and site content are owned by eTempMail or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own lawful purposes under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), scrape at scale, or redistribute our materials without permission.
7. Third-party services and content
The Service may link to or integrate with third parties (for example payment checkout or API marketplaces). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Messages delivered to temporary inboxes come from third parties; we do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Treat unexpected links and attachments with caution.
8. Privacy
How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Temporary inboxes can be accessed by anyone who has the address, so do not use them for highly sensitive personal data you need to keep private permanently.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep eTempMail reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Domains, features, limits, and uptime may change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including free features, when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product improvement.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that temporary addresses will be accepted by every third-party website, that every message will be delivered or retained, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eTempMail and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law (such as certain liability for fraud).
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify eTempMail and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights or policies.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, legal risk, non-payment, or to protect the Service and other users. Provisions that by nature should survive (including acceptable use, IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires additional notice or consent.
